Michael Dawson has warned Jose Mourinho that a number of his key players, including Harry Kane, could leave the club following his appointment.
The Portuguese was announced as the new Tottenham manager earlier this week, only hours after Maurcio Pochettino’s departure was confirmed.
And the Nottingham Forest defender, who spent nearly a decade at White Hart Lane, feels Mourinho could lose a number of high profile players.

“The first thing Mourinho has to do now [is convince the players to stay]," he told talkSPORT.
"That group of players loved Pochettino. What he has done for the last five years is absolutely incredible.
“He made Harry Kane, and all I would say is I hope that doesn’t make him go, ‘now I want to leave.’
“You look at Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen … do they want to stay?
“Those kind of players, having your contract running out can be unsettling and once one leaves, it can maybe have a knock-on effect.”
Dawson played over 200 times for Spurs after he cut his first spell at Forest short in 2005. The 36-year-old, is expected to return to the Forest squad this weekend after Sabri Lamouchi confirmed his return to fitness.
