Nottingham Forest star Joe Lolley says what we are all thinking about life in lockdown

Nottingham Forest star Joe Lolley has taken to Twitter to fume about those who flout the UK government's lockdown rules.

The 27-year-old, and one of football's good guys, was speaking after hearing about the death of Southampton fan Mark Channon who lost his battle with coronavirus over the weekend.

His brother, Jason, has urged people to follow the government's orders to stay home with frequent reports of public meet-ups and house parties still populated the newspapers.

On Saturday, news broke that £25m Everton forward Moise Kean had hosted a house party at his Cheshire flat - and ever posted videos from the night on his social media.

He has since been shunned by the Goodison Park club and fined £160,000.

Lolley said : "There are still people out there who’ll read this who think these lockdown rules don’t apply to them or that it’s not a big deal if they see people.

"Please have some respect for human life and also the sacrifices made by workers every day."

He added: "Just stay at home for a few weeks, that’s all."
