Nottingham Forest stance on bid for Kamil Grosicki revealed

Nottingham Forest are confident the signing of Kamil Grosikci will be confirmed as they play a waiting game.

The Reds are looking to bring in the West Brom winger on a season-long loan and believe the relevant paperwork was correctly submitted shortly before the 5pm deadline on Friday.

However, they are yet to receive confirmation either way with no definite decision anticipated potentially until Monday.

The 32-year-old would become signing number 15 since the end of last season after Forest signed winger Anthony Knockaert on loan until January on Friday.

Grosicki only arrived at the Hawthorns in the January transfer window when he signed on an 18-month contract from Hull City for a nominal fee ahead of the expiry of his deal at the KCOM Stadium.

He was out of favour at the Premier League side and fits the bill for Forest. Grosicki is a long-term target of Forest, going back to Martin O'Neill's time in charge.

A move for the Poland international was believed to be close before the last deadline day.
