Nottingham Forest have donated over 2,500 pairs of disposable gloves to the National Health Service (NHS).
The club announced they had made the gesture on Thursday night, with the gloves going to those who will need to use them at the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS trust.
The Trust is comprised of the Queen's Medical Centre, Ropewalk House, City Hospital and Major Trauma Centre.
Forest 's generous donation comes with the country in the grip of coronavirus.
Covid-19 has claimed 7,978 lives in the United Kingdom already, with 65,077 people infected with the disease.
Forest's season has been suspended until it is safe to resume so, with the 2019-20 campaign put on hold indefinitely.
The Reds have themselves been affected by the virus, with owner Evangelos Marinakis recovering from Covid-19 after he tested positive last month.
"#NFFC are helping NHS staff by donating over 2,500 pairs of disposable gloves for their use during these difficult times," the club tweeted.
"NHS staff across the country are risking their lives to protect yours, so please:
"STAY AT HOME, PROTECT THE NHS AND SAVE LIVES."
The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust shared their own message.
"Thank you @NFFC for donating over 2,500 pairs of disposable gloves to us, thank you for helping and thinking of us," they tweeted.
