Nottingham Forest sell Gboly Ariyibi to Greek club

Gboly Ariyibi has left Nottingham Forest.

The Reds have sold the 24-year-old to Greek First Division side Panaitolikos.

Having moved to the City Ground on a three-and-a-half year deal from Chesterfield in January 2017, Ariyibi failed to make a single first-team appearance for the club.

He was loaned out three times by Forest, to MK Dons, Northampton Town and Motherwell.

The Reds confirmed his departure in a statement on Sunday morning.

"Nottingham Forest can confirm that winger Gboly Ariyibi has left the club to join Greek side Panaitolikos for an undisclosed fee," it read.

Panaitolikos have confirmed Ariyibi has signed a two-year deal with them.
