Nottingham Forest have been been linked with a move for Swedish defender Mattias Johansson.
The 28-year-old right-back plays for Panathinaikos and is said to have caught the eye of the Reds.
Greek media outlet Page News say: “According to information from LIVE SPORT, there is ‘flirting’ with this group and there may have already been preliminary contacts.”
Johansson, who has previously represented his country, started out at Kalmar, in his homeland.
He went on to join AZ Alkmaar in a 1.5m euros move in 2012, before heading to Greece five years later, in 2017.
Since then, he has racked up more than 60 league appearances for Panathinaikos and scored five goals - including playing 21 league matches this term.
The report from Page News adds: “There is a lot of gossip about Mattias Johansson’s future in football, as Nottingham could be an option for the Swedish international footballer, as he seems to be on the English team’s list.”
Forest currently have three right-backs in their ranks.
Matty Cash has been in outstanding form this season. More used to playing further up the pitch, he has become first-choice for Sabri Lamouchi.
Carl Jenkinson joined from Arsenal last summer, while Tendayi Darikwa is back in training after suffering a ruptured ACL before the campaign kicked off.
Johansson will be out of contract this summer, having penned a three-year deal when he joined Panathinaikos.
