Nottingham Forest's 'change of heart' in Ben Osborn sale to Sheffield United

Nottingham Forest are understood to have reluctantly accepted a second bid from Sheffield United for Ben Osborn after the Blades agreed to adjust "associated add-ons" in the deal.

The Reds rejected an opening offer - thought to have been around £3m - from the newly-promoted Premier League club for the 24-year-old midfielder, who has just one year left on his contract at the City Ground.

But the Sheffield Star claim Forest accepted an improved bid when the Bramall Lane club agreed to alter some of the add-ons included in the deal.

"Although United are not believed to have significantly raised their valuation of a player... sources close to the negotiation process reported last night that a willingness to adjust some of the associated add-ons has prompted Forest's change of heart," say the Star.
