Nottingham Forest's battles with East Midlands rivals Derby County moved

The kick-off times for both clashes between Nottingham Forest and Derby County have been moved forward on police advice.

Forest’s City Ground clash with the Rams, now under the tutelage of Phillip Cocu, will take place at 1pm on Saturday, November 9, with the Pride Park Stadium return set for Saturday, April 4 at 1pm.

Kick-off times for both games could yet be moved again, pending possible television coverage - and the club will be notified of this possible change by August 30 for the Trentside meeting in November.

Last term, the Pride Park and City Ground games were moved to accommodate broadcast, with the fixtures being moved to Monday, December 17 and Monday, February 25 respectively.

The Pride Park clash between the two teams, then managed by Aitor Karanka and Frank Lampard, finished 0-0, while a Yohan Benalouane goal after 74 seconds secured a 1-0 win for Martin O’Neill’s Reds in late February.

This season's clash will yet again feature two new men in the dugout, with Cocu replacing Lampard and Frenchman Sabri Lamouchi taking charge of Forest after O'Neill's sacking.

Forest have already seen their opening two games of the new Championship season moved for Sky.

Their opening fixture at the City Ground against West Brom was pushed back until 5:30pm on the first Saturday of the campaign, while the following week’s trip to last season’s beaten play-off semi-finalists Leeds United will also be live on television.

Meanwhile, the Reds' trip to Charlton Athletic on August 21 will be Sky's main game, with the other fixtures that evening behind the red button.
