Nottingham Forest reportedly set to launch £2.5m bid for Hull City winger Kamil Grosicki

Nottingham Forest are reportedly firming up a £2.5m bid for Hull City winger Kamil Grosicki.

The 30-year-old was in fine form for the Tigers last season, scoring nine goals and picking up 12 assists along the way.

Impressed by his performances at the KCOM Stadium, Reds boss Martin O'Neill is now ready to make an approach for the midfielder according to the Sun.

Naturally a left-sided midfielder, Grosicki has turned out 66 times for his native Poland as well as making 15 appearances for Hull in the Premier League in 2017, scooping PFA Premier League player of the month in April that season.

Nigel Adkins will be keen to keep his man who has just 12 months left on his current deal on Humberside, making this summer's window the last chance for the club to cash in on the winger before he can negotiate with other clubs in January over Bosman free transfers in a year's time.

However, it is understood that Grosicki does have an option to extend his current deal a further year.

The Reds are set for a busy summer of transfer activity with the Sun also reporting that as many as 12 of Forest's squad could be set to leave over the next three month to make way for fresh faces.
