Nottingham Forest reportedly chasing Bundesliga striker Simon Terodde

Nottingham Forest are reportedly in a three-way battle for German striker Simon Terodde, it has been claimed.

According to  SportBild, the Reds are fighting Fulham and Blackburn for the FC Koln forward's signature.

The striker has struggled for regular first-team appearances this season having made just seven starts in 23 games. And has scored three goals.

And speculation in German media suggests he will be leaving the club with a move to England potentially on the cards.

Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi is said to be keen on bolstering his striking options and this weekend was linked with a move for ex-Charlton forward Lyle Taylor.

He is currently a free agent but Forest face stiff competition for the 30-year-old who scored 11 goals for Charlton this season.

But should Forest switch their attentions to Terodde, he does have options in Germany with FC Nürnberg are also said to be interested.

Despite his lack of serious game time this season, the 6ft 3in forward does have a fine goals record for Koln.

He has scored 37 goals in 71 appearances, but Forest would likely have to pay a fee for the 32-year-old who is still under contract until next summer having signed a three-year deal in 2018.
