Nottingham Forest ready to battle other clubs for exciting Spurs star - reports

Reported Nottingham Forest target Jack Clarke could be in line to join a new club during the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old forward is currently on loan at Leeds United from parent-club Tottenham Hotspur, who he joined in the summer from the Elland Road club.

Since returning to the Yorkshire outfit on a temporary deal, Clarke has found game time limited under Marcelo Bielsa.

Clarke has featured just three times for the Whites this season, with just one of those coming in the Sky Bet Championship while the other two were in the Carabao Cup.

Football Insider are reporting that Clarke could head back to north London in January as part of an agreed term in the loan deal between the clubs.

The report adds that the City Ground could be a potential destination for Clarke in the New Year, although it appears Forest are just one of a number of clubs keen on his signature, with sides in the Premier League and Championship clubs thought to be interested.

This is not the first time that the Reds have been linked with a January move for Clarke, with reports last month claiming that Forest may be interested in signing the forward should he return to Spurs.

It appears that Clarke will return to Jose Mourinho’s side in January, with the talented forward managing just 19 minutes under his belt at Elland Road this season.
