Nottingham Forest 'preparing bid' for striker - report

Nottingham Forest are "preparing to bid" for Galatasaray's Mbaye Diagne.

The Reds have been linked with a move for the Senegalese striker, who is currently on loan at Belgian club Club Brugge.

And it is now said they are planning a bid of up to 8m euros in an attempt to bolster their strikeforce.

It is understood Diagne, who joined Galatasaray for 10m euros in January last year, wants to return to the Turkish giants - but Turkish daily newspaper Milliyet reports manager Fatih Terim wants to assess the interest in the 28-year-old.

Diagne was top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig last season with 30 goals, and has netted four goals in six league matches on loan at Club Brugge and played in the Champions League.
