Nottingham Forest players thanks fans for their support at Leeds United

A trio of Nottingham Forest players have thanked the fans who made the trip to Elland Road on Saturday.

Lewis Grabban's goal earned the Reds their first point of the season after they were on the back foot for most of the game against Leeds United.

After the match, Joe Worrall, Matty Cash and Joe Lolley all took to Twitter to thank supporters for getting behind the team so much.

Head coach Sabri Lamouchi was also grateful for the backing in his first Championship away game as boss.

“I also want to say a special congratulations to our fans, because we feel them with us and that is really important for the players and the team," he said.

“We have to keep focused on our job because we have a lot of things to do.

“Everything is not as I want at the moment, but that is normal. Some players came late in pre-season, so physically some of them are a little bit behind.

“Now we have to focus on the squad and the players.”
