Nottingham Forest players receive response after Sky Sports cameras film heated arguments

While Sky Sports cameras were picking up tense discussions between Forest players during their 4-0 defeat to Leicester City on Monday night, it was all getting rather heated away from the pitch too.

Sky picked up footage of Lewis O'Brien, Steve Cook, Morgan Gibbs-White and Cheikhou Kouyate arguing after James Maddison's second had put the Foxes three goals to the good.

The NottinghamshireLive reaction piece provoked quite a response, with Reds fans showing the type of passion that was sadly lacking from Forest’s performance.

Team selection, poor organisation and a flawed recruitment policy were all held up as being responsible for the team’s lack of harmony.

But Forest’s fate was the one subject which the majority of fans were found to be in agreement on: they’re going down.

Here’s what the Reds fans were saying on Facebook:

Keith Simpson: Should have bought the loan players from last season. At least they worked as a team. Money doesn't buy you success

Trev Johnson: I can’t wait to be back in Championship tbf. We’re nowhere near ready for the big boys league.

Jeff Shepherd: Need to show that on the pitch never mind among themselves.

Robeena Ahmad: It just about summed things up. That’s nowhere near what a team looks like.

Stephen Corcos: If you were looking for a positive for players arguing amongst themselves, you could say at least it shows they care.

Norman Revill: Unfortunately Mr Cooper, your team selection was wrong and your team don’t look motivated.

John Oxley: It’s a whole new bunch of players. It takes time to get them to understand the coach and each other. Given the time Steve Cooper will get it sorted but I’m afraid by then it will be too late.

Michael Clifton: Last season we had a team that played with passion. This season and 150 million pounds later, no passion, no commitment, no fight.

Dave Reece: Has bought so many mediocre non Premiership standard players who, lets face it, aren't up to that level! Cooper should keep faith with the 6 or 7 players who got them promoted last year and added accordingly! I'm sorry to say this team is staring at relegation so early in the season. Just not good enough.

Colin Murphy: Playing like Championship players. Steve Cooper’s done a remarkable job getting Nottingham Forest back into the Premier League. Think the time has come to give Sean Dyche a call!
