Nottingham Forest picked for TV coverage - and Reds fans might not be happy

Two of Nottingham Forest’s upcoming games have been picked for live TV coverage - and that now means an awkward Monday night trip to Middlesbrough for Reds supporters.

Sabri Lamouchi’s men were due to make the trip to the Riverside Stadium on Saturday, February 29.

But that clash will now take place two days later, on Monday, March 2 (7.45pm kick-off) and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Forest’s Championship match away to Cardiff City will also be televised, but the date and kick-off time remains the same.

That match against the Bluebirds will be on Tuesday, February 25 (7.45pm kick-off).

The Reds will be looking for revenge when they head to Wales, having lost 1-0 in the reverse fixture at the City Ground in November.

Their home game with Middlesbrough last month finished 1-1 as a Patrick McNair penalty cancelled out Ryan Yates’ opener.

Those two fixtures will come at a crucial stage of the season for Forest as they look to maintain their push for promotion.

After Wednesday night’s 1-1 draw with Reading, they currently sit in fourth spot, four points off second-placed Leeds United.
