Nottingham Forest old boy's predictions will be music to the ears of Reds fans

Nottingham Forest are being tipped to return to the top of the Sky Bet Championship table this week.

The Reds climbed to the Championship summit following their 3-2 win at Stoke City on Friday night.

Their stay was shortlived, though, as West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City leapfrogged them over the weekend.

Forest have a chance to regain pole position on Tuesday night, however, if results go their way.

Sabri Lamouchi's men, currently one point behind leaders West Brom, take on Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park (7.45pm), while the Baggies face fourth-placed Leeds United at Elland Road.

Second-placed Swansea City, above Forest, on goal difference, play on Wednesday evening, at Charlton Athletic.

Sky Sports EFL pundit David Prutton - the former Reds and Leeds midfielder - is backing the Reds to reclaim top spot.

Prutton is predicting a 2-1 victory for Forest at Blackburn.

Meanwhile, he reckons West Brom will draw 2-2 at Leeds.

That would be enough to take Forest to the top - and they will remain there going into the weekend if Prutton's prediction for Swansea to lose 1-0 at Charlton comes to pass.
