Former Nottingham Forest striker Nelson Oliveira is being linked with a surprise move to a Premier League club.
After spending the majority of the 2015/16 on loan at the City Ground from Benfica, where he bagged nine goals in 29 outings, the Portuguese forward is yet to find a club where he can settle.
Currently with Greek club AEK Athens, reports in the Express & Star claim that top flight side Wolverhampton Wanderers are showing an interest in signing the striker this month.
The report adds that a deal is not close, but that Oliveira has caught the attention of the Molineux outfit after scoring nine goals in 19 appearances in Greece this season, with Wolves in talks over a move for the player.
It is also being claimed that Wolves are trying to sign one-time reported Forest target Daniel Podence from Olympiacos this month.
Podence was linked with a move to Trentside in the summer of 2018, but a move never materialised as he eventually signed for Olympiacos after leaving Sporting Lisbon.
The report adds that it is unclear whether Wolves would prefer a permanent or loan deal for Podence, who is believed to be valued at around £21m by the Greek club.
