Nottingham Forest need to start winning "as soon as possible" to gain momentum in the Championship, says new signing Carl Jenkinson.
The Reds have earned one point from their opening two league matches of the season, following a 1-1 draw at Leeds United and a 2-1 defeat to West Brom at the City Ground.
They will be looking to claim a first victory of the campaign when they face Birmingham City on home soil on Saturday (3pm).
Promotion to the Premier League is the aim at the City Ground this season, and Jenkinson said: “I think a good start does help.

“Football is all about momentum; you start a run of games and you build momentum, you build the belief and everything else which comes from winning games.
“Football is all about momentum, for sure. You get the ball rolling and it just snowballs.
“We as a team need to get winning as soon as possible."
