Portuguese attacker Jota is said to be on the verge of leaving Benfica - with suggestions he could be on the way to Nottingham Forest.
The Reds have been linked with the 21-year-old, along with his club teammate David Tavares.
It is thought a move elsewhere is particularly likely for Jota this summer as he has fallen down the pecking order at his club.

He did not feature in a pre-season match against Estoril on Saturday, which Benfica won 4-1.
And with the Portuguese outfit finalising moves for some of their players, ABOLA report Jota “could be next”.
Their report says Benfica are “making official loans and definitive exits”, adding “other cases are not yet solved, but they may become so next week”.
They continue: “Jota clearly has little space in Jorge Jesus’ squad for next season and needs a club where he can be used regularly.
“That club might even be England’s Nottingham Forest.”
Head coach Sabri Lamouchi has so far added three new faces to his squad ahead of the upcoming Championship season.
Jack Colback, Tyler Blackett and Lyle Taylor have all been brought in, with further additions expected before the window closes.
