Out-of-favour Nottingham Forest midfielder Liam Bridcutt is reportedly set to join Bolton Wanderers.
The 30-year-old was among a group of players told they were free to find other clubs this summer.
And he is now being linked with a loan move to League One Wanderers, ahead of today’s transfer deadline for teams in the third and fourth tiers of English football.
Bridcutt made the move to the City Ground in the summer of 2017 and has made 31 appearances in the Garibaldi, but has not played for the first-team in almost a year.
His last runout was in the Carabao Cup against Burton Albion last October, when the Reds, at the time managed by Aitor Karanka, were beaten 3-2.

He did not get a look-in during Martin O’Neill’s time in charge and has not been part of the senior squad working with Sabri Lamouchi, though has featured for Forest’s Under-23s.
The Bolton News report Bridcutt could be one of the first names through the door for the League One club today as they prepare for a “manic Monday”.
New manager Keith Hill is said to have quickly started sounding out potential signings, following the takeover by the Football Ventures consortium.
Teams in Leagues One and Two have until 5pm today to make loan or permanent signings, with the window also closing in many leagues across Europe.
