Nottingham Forest midfielder Liam Bridcutt has joined Bolton Wanderers on loan.
The former Scotland international will link up with the League One side until January, after they were successfully taken over last week.
Bridcutt has not featured in a Championship game for Forest for a year and has instead being playing for the Under-23s, most recently as a central defender.
The 30-year-old will line-up alongside former Reds defender Jack Hobbs, while Forest striker Daryl Murphy has also been linked with a move to the Trotters.
Bolton are finally able to look to the future after their takeover by Football Ventures ended a financial crisis, although they are sat on -11 points following a 12-point deduction for going into administration.
Bridcutt may not be the only departure from the City Ground, with clubs in Europe being able to sign players until as late as 11pm tonight.
The transfer window also closes for clubs in League One and Two today.
Arvin Appiah has already joined Spanish side Almeria for £8m today.
