Nottingham Forest midfielder Fouad Bachirou could be set for a return to Scandinavia.
The 30-year-old is attracting interest from Rosenberg according to The Athletic.
Bachirou only joined Forest from Malmo last summer, but his first season at the City Ground has been severely hampered by injury.
He has made just three appearances, all in cup competitions and is currently not in Forest's 25-man registered squad.
“All you can be is true about the decisions you make, be clear about the decisions you make and be as honest as you can about the decisions you make,” manager Chris Hughton said of Bachirou's situation, along with that of fellow squad exiles Harry Arter and Michael Dawson.
“You are making those decisions not just for you, but for the betterment of the team.
“As regards the difficulty of it, it’s a difficult job and that’s part of it.
“What you always have to do is make the best decisions for the group, for the club and the team that we’ve got.
“There is always a very good reason to fight; it’s either to make sure you are in that squad, make sure you’re in the 25 and make sure you stay in the team. They are all the reasons they have to fight.”
Rosenberg last won the Norwegian title in 2018 as they look to recapture the crown for a 27th time.
