Nottingham Forest man sends cryptic message amid transfer rumours

Nottingham Forest forward Zach Clough has fuelled speculation surrounding his future with a cryptic message.

Clough has been out of the first-team picture at the City Ground under Sabri Lamouchi, not featuring at all so far this season.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a loan switch to League One promotion chasers Sunderland, along with team-mate Liam Bridcutt.

And Clough may have hinted at an impending move when he took to social media on Tuesday.

On his Instagram account, he posted a one-word message - "Patience" - followed by praying and football emojis.

Meanwhile, Forest have made their first signing of the January transfer window, with the arrival of forward Adama Diakhaby on loan from Huddersfield Town.

There has also been a departure - Jack Robinson joining Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £1million.

Could Clough be set to follow Robinson in leaving the club before the end of the month?
