Nottingham Forest man completes transfer and handed immediate debut

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Jordan Wright has joined non-league Hereford FC on loan.

The 22-year-old, who has had loan spells at Alfreton Town, Nuneaton Borough, Kettering Town, and most recently Alloa Athletic last season, has joined the National League North Bulls on a short-term deal.

Wright was handed an immediate debut by his new club against Darlington in the National League North on Saturday afternoon.

A Hereford statement read: “Hereford have agreed a deal with Nottingham Forest for the short-term loan of goalkeeper Jordan Wright.

“The 22-year-old is part of the U23’s set up at Nottingham Forest, keeping a clean sheet against Southampton B in his first outing of the season.

“The shot-stopper, who is available for selection today, is determined to progress and get game-time in a first team set up.”
