Nottingham Forest make fresh transfer agreement for academy starlet

Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal with Truro City to extend the loan deal of Will Swan.

The 19-year-old initially signed a one-month loan deal at the start of January, in order for the teenager to get a taste of first-team football.

Now Truro have agreed with Forest that the deal will now be extended, with Swan impressing in his short stint with the non-league club.

Merely a few hours after joining the Cornish side last month, Swan was thrown straight into the starting line-up and was named man of the match for an impressive performance against Met Police.

Truro, who are second in the Southern League Premier Division, were 4-0 winners with Swann scoring twice in the second half.

Swan has now made five appearances for City, and has already got six goal to his name, with his most recent coming in a 2-1 win over Farnborough at the weekend.

The teenager is held in high regard within the Nigel Doughty Academy, and could be one to look out for at the City Ground in the future.

Swan could next be in action for Truro in their league match away at Gosport Borough on Saturday.
