Cooper, Reid, Howe - Nottingham Forest manager questions answered

Another eventful week at Nottingham Forest comes to a close with the club on the lookout for a new manager.

Coach Steven Reid has been placed in temporary charge after Chris Hughton was sacked on the back of Wednesday night’s 2-0 defeat at home to Middlesbrough.

It meant there was plenty to discuss in our weekly webchat.

Reds correspondent Sarah Clapson was online to answer your questions and respond to your comments this morning, with updates in the comments section below from 11am.

Reid will oversee tomorrow’s trip to face Huddersfield Town, and is expected to be at the helm until after the weekend - with Steve Cooper understood to be the top target to replace Hughton.

Forest need to turn their form around quickly. They are rock bottom of the Championship table, having suffered six defeats from their opening seven league games. The only point they have registered so far came against bitter enemies Derby County.

Who should get the job? Did the Reds make the right decision to axe Hughton? Should he have gone earlier in the season? How should they line up against the Terriers?

Sarah was live from 11am, but fans could get their questions and comments in early using the guide below, then join in the debate.
