Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move for ex-Manchester United and Cyprus international Nicholas Ioannou.
According to reports, the Reds have an interest in the Apoel Nicosia defender who has had another stellar club season.
24Sports claim that Forest are keen on luring him to the City Ground with the 24-year-old centre-back said to be open to leaving Apoel.
It is reported that Ioannou would be part of a double swoop with Apoel team-mate and the highly-rated Musa Tamari heading to Olympiakos, who are also owned by Evangelos Marinakis.
Ioannou started his career at United at the age of 12 having been scouted at a football camp in Nicosia.
He continued to learn his trade alongside Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay. He was captain of United's reserve side, but left to join Apoel Nicosia in 2014.
In November, he made his full debut in the Champions League against Paris St Germain where they lost 1-0.
He signed a three-year contract in 2016, but that was extended just a year later with his current deal set to expire next summer.
Ioannou has represented his country 18 times.
