Nottingham Forest’s fixtures for the 2023/24 Premier League season have been released.

Having retained their top-flight status with a game to spare last term, Steve Cooper ’s side are keen to push on in the upcoming campaign. Following a strong finish and with some exciting talent in the dressing room, there is plenty of optimism for the year ahead.

The Reds face a tough start, however, with four of their first six matches away from home. They kick off with a trip to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, with visits to Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City soon after.

Johnson speculation addressed

Wales boss Robert Page has backed Brennan Johnson to ignore the transfer talk surrounding him and focus on his country’s Euro 2024 qualifiers.

The Nottingham Forest flier returns to the international set-up for the first time since missing March’s matches with injury. He does so having helped the Reds retain their Premier League status but also being the subject of a reported £30million bid from Brentford.

The Bees have been long-time admirers of the 22-year-old who is set to earn his 19th and 20th caps against Armenia on Friday and Turkey on Monday.

Morelos transfer links

Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move for striker Alfredo Morelos but face competition from Everton, it is claimed.

The Colombian forward will leave Rangers this summer after spending six years at Ibrox following his arrival from Finnish outfit Helsinki in 2017. His 29 goals in Europe made him the club's all-time top European goalscorer.

But his time in Scotland is coming to an end with his current deal at the Scottish giants expiring at the end of June. The 26-year-old will be able to sign for clubs as a free agent on July 1.
