Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move for Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos.
The 22-year-old has struggled for game time since making the move to the Gunners from Ioannina, in his homeland of Greece, almost two years ago.
He has already been linked to Olympiacos, who, like the Reds, are owned by businessman Evangelos Marinakis.
And now reports in Greece claim moving to the City Ground on loan could be an option for the centre-back.
Mavropanos has made just three appearances for Arsenal this season, two of those for their Under-21s in the Football League Trophy and the other in last week’s 2-2 draw with Standard Liege which saw the club progress to the last 32 of the Europa League.
According to Sportime, as well as interest from Olympiacos, “Nottingham has also come into the game now”.
And they add: “According to current data, the loan scenario in the Championship team is more likely.”
Former Greece Under-21 international Mavropanos made the move to the Emirates Stadium in January 2018.
He made his debut that April, being included in the starting XI in a 2-1 league defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
In total, he has made seven Premier League appearances for the London club.
