Benfica's Alfa Semedo has been linked with Nottingham Forest.
According to Portuguese outlet CM Journal, the 21-year-old will join Sabri Lamouchi's side on loan for the 2019-20 campaign.
The Bissau-Guinean spent the latter half of last season on loan in La Liga with Espanyol and has also turned out for Moreirense.
Defensively-minded, the midfielder came through Benfica's academy before joining Moreirense, but then returned to the Eagles in 2018.
It's been reported that Premier League Burnley are in talks with Semedo, while Forest's Championship rivals Wigan Athletic have also been credited with an interest.
Semedo has made 33 appearances in Portugal's top flight, with a further three coming in the Champions League.
He made three outings for Espanyol last season and has also turned out for Vilafranquense.
