Nottingham Forest legend Brian Clough 'my cup of tea', says Chelsea boss

Chelsea boss Emma Hayes described her "love" for Brian Clough as her side won the Women's Continental League Cup at the City Ground.

The Blues beat Arsenal 2-1 in the final thanks to two goals from Beth England.

And the delight for Hayes was winning silverware at the home of one of her footballing idols - Clough.

"Going to Wembley will always be a highlight, but I love this man (Clough)," said Hayes.

"He is my cup of tea. I'd loved to have had a cup of tea with him, to have walked the dog with him, to have had a chat with him.

"I could sense it when I came into the building. The players haven't got a clue who he is, and I'm busy taking photographs of myself with his photographs on the wall.

"My sister sent me lists of quotes this morning, with my favourite being this one - 'I wouldn't say I was the best manager in the business, but I was in the top one'.

"Well, I'm there today. I'll take that today."
