Nottingham Forest and Derby County are both said to be among a number of clubs who sent scouts to cast their eye over Celtic's Europa League clash with Sabri Lamouchi 's former club Rennes on Thursday night.
Celtic secured their progression to the the knockout stages and will finish Group E top regardless of the outcome of the final set of fixtures, but it has been revealed that a number of scouts were present at Celtic Park.
The scouts flocked to Parkhead to watch the unbeaten Bhoys, according to BBC journalist Kheredine Idessane, who tweeted out a picture of the list of scouts in attendance.
And Forest were one of those clubs.
There were 29 teams on the list, all with scouts represented at the match, with 13 Premier League sides there including Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.
Also on the list were Oldham Athletic of League Two, keeping fine company alongside European heavyweights Borussia Dortmund.
