Nottingham Forest issue ticket update to supporters for suspended fixtures

Nottingham Forest have issued a ticket update to supporters following the suspension of the football season due to the coronavirus.

The EFL board mad an emergency meeting on Friday morning, after Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odi were diagnosed with COVID-19.

Forest’s season has been suspended until April 3 at the earliest, with the Reds next due in action against arch rivals Derby County on April 4.

The club confirmed on Wednesday that every member of the Reds staff and playing squad have been tested for the virus, with all results coming back negative.

Forest were due to face Sheffield Wednesday this weekend in the Sky Bet Championship, but the trip to Hillsborough as well as home fixtures against Huddersfield Town and Bristol City have been called off.

Supporters have been waiting to find out ticket details for those three matches, and now Forest have confirmed that tickets will remain valid for the rearranged fixtures.

There has been no time frame on when the fixtures will be rescheduled, but the club have urged supporters to keep hold of any tickets they have for the affected matches.

“#NFFC fans are advised that all tickets issued for our games against @swfc, @htafc and @BristolCity will remain valid for the respective rescheduled fixture dates,” the statement read.

“Replacement tickets will not be issued, so please keep hold of the original one until the new date is confirmed.”
