Nottingham Forest 'interested' in wantaway Premier League striker

Nottingham Forest have been linked with a summer transfer move for Everton striker Moise Kean.

The Italian striker spent last season on loan at Juventus as part of a two-year loan, after leaving the Serie A giants for £25.1m in 2019. However, Dušan Vlahović's arrival in January limited his starts for Massimiliano Allegri's side and he managed only six goals in all competitions.

Kean's spell in England has failed to live up to the expectations since moving to Merseyside, scoring only four goals in 39 appearances for the Toffees, and falling behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin as Everton's main centre-forward.

He spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Paris Saint-German but could now make a return to the Premier League with Forest reportedly interested in the 22-year-old. According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Steve Cooper's side and Fulham are interested in signing the striker for their returns to the top flight.

The striker, who was reportedly set to join Juventus back on a permanent deal, is not convinced by either of the two newly-promoted clubs, with Di Marzio stating that he will keep his options open to other offers. At the start of May, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that

from Everton this summer after they finished fourth in Serie A, but no deal seems to have been struck.

"Moise Kean? We want him to score 25 goals per season, he has a huge potential, he has a huge potential," told the Italian side's vice president Pascal Nedved.
