Nottingham Forest interested in signing Bournemouth star on permanent transfer - reports

Nottingham Forest have reportedly shown an interest in Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter.

According to the BBC, Forest have shown an interest in signing Arter on a permanent deal from the Cherries.

Arter has spent the last two seasons on loan away from the Vitality Stadium, having stints with Cardiff City and Fulham.

The report goes on to state that Arter’s future is likely to be away from the south coast, and has one year left on his current deal with Bournemouth.

Arter joined Bournemouth in 2010 and was a key player in the rise through the divisions to the Premier League.

In total, the 30-year-old has made 254 appearances for the Cherries and has scored 29 goals, as well as contributing 20 assists for his team mates.

Forest have already made eight signings this summer, as Sabri Lamouchi looks to strengthen his squad and mount another push for promotion to the Premier League.

Loic Mbe Soh, Fouad Bachirou, Lyle Taylor, Jack Colback, Tyler Blackett, Miguel Angel Guerrero, Luke Freeman and Abdoulaye Diallo have all arrived at the City Ground this summer.
