Nottingham Forest have had 'discussions' with Marseille midfielder

Nottingham Forest are said to be interested in teenage Marseille attacking midfielder Jores Rahou.

La Provence say the 16-year-old has "had discussions" with the Reds' head of international recruitment, Jose Anigo, while Bundesliga clubs Red Bull Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen have both "made enquiries" about the youngster.

Rahou, who has made two appearances for Marseille's reserve side, is said to be under contract at the French club until 2021.

Anigo was spotted watching Rahou in action for Marseille reserves earlier this month, in a 3-1 defeat to RC Grasse at the Paul Le Cesne Stadium.

Rahou has been with Marseille since the age of seven, and spent some of pre-season training with the first team squad.
