Nottingham Forest have got 'proven quality' in Albert Adomah

Nottingham Forest ace Albert Adomah is "proven quality in the Championship".

The 31-year-old Reds winger scored his third goal of the season to rescue a 1-1 draw against Preston at the City Ground on Saturday.

Having joined the club on a free transfer from Aston Villa in the summer, he has made an instant impact for Sabri Lamouchi's side.

He latched onto a throughball from Joao Carvalho to score the equaliser against Preston.

And EFL on Quest pundit Dean Ashton said: "Albert Adomah is proven quality in the Championship, with the goals he scored for Aston Villa and he has shown real pace."

Forest trailed 1-0 to Preston at half-time, Billy Bodin on target for the visitors, but Lamouchi inspired a fightback in the second half, bringing on Samba Sow at half-time and then Carvalho and goal hero Adomah.

"Lamouchi needed to make the right changes at half-time," added Ashton.

"Preston were excellent in that first half and probably felt they should have been further ahead."
