Nottingham Forest goalkeeper sends promotion message as he prepares for another Wembley final

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Ethan Horvath has talked up Luton Town's "massive" play-off final against Coventry City on Saturday.

The American shot-stopper is on-loan at the Hatters from Forest and has impressed in the Championship for Rob Edwards' side. He has kept 20 clean sheet during the current campaign.

Horvath will be seeking back-to-back play-off final wins having appeared as a substitute during the Reds' 1-0 win over Huddersfield at Wembley last season.

And ahead of Luton's huge clash against the Sky Blues, the Forest keeper could not hide the magnitude of Saturday's game.

“I think the magnitude of this game is just really massive for the fans,” he told ESPN.

“It’s a bit hard to put into words. We’ve got the NBA Finals going on now and my hometown Denver Nuggets are in it. If they end up winning, they aren’t going to end up getting 200 million or whatever the amount is for this game.

“You look around the stadium here, for the fans, for the community, it’s going to be massive. To get into the Premier League is one thing, but then to have all of that [here], what you could do to the stadium, for the fans, for the community — it’s endless.”

The 27-year-old will also be coming up against a fellow Reds loanee at Wembley with defender Jonathan Panzo expected to play for Coventry.
