Nottingham Forest game picked for TV coverage as Sheffield Wednesday try to stave off drop

Nottingham Forest’s Championship encounter at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday will be screened live by Sky Sports, it has been confirmed.

While Forest have secured their Championship status for another season and have little left to play for other than pride, it is a huge game for the Owls, who still have a chance of getting out of trouble.

With that in mind, the game has been picked for TV coverage and will now kick-off at 12.30pm.

Second-bottom Wednesday are four points behind fourth-bottom Derby, with both sides having just two games left to play.

In between, Rotherham United are level on points with the Owls but have four games left, meaning their destiny is in their own hands.

However, the Millers face a tough game on Tuesday night at play-off chasing Brentford before hosting Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Derby host Wednesday on the final day of the season in a game which could see both sides relegated.
