Nottingham Forest flop admits to feeling uneasy at new club

Former Nottingham Forest striker Rafa Mir is biding his time as he awaits his chance at new club Huesca.

The 22-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan with the Reds from Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers.

But his stint on Trentside did not work out, and returned to Molineux having failed to score a single goal in 13 appearances for the Reds.

Shortly after returning to Wolves, Mir signed on loan with Spanish second division side Huesca for the remainder of the season.

Mir has made six appearances in the league since his arrival in Spain in January, already bagging two goals for his new club.

But after receiving a red card against Girona at the start of last month, Mir has had to settle for a place among the substitutes.

The Spain Under-21 international admits it is difficult not playing regularly, but respects the decision of the manager as he awaits his opportunity.

"I am comfortable playing, where I am not at ease is on the bench,” Mir told AS, in a translated interview.

He added: “I am working calmly, I am happy. It is true that in the last two games I have not started.

“It is a decision that depends on Míchel (Sanchez – Huesca head coach). I've been talking to him.

“When I have the opportunity I will try to do my best. It is not my moment, it is the moment of the team.”
