Nottingham Forest fans have given their thoughts on links with Peterborough United forward Siriki Dembele.
The Reds were linked with the 24-year-old in the summer, along with a number of Premier League clubs including West Bromwich Albion, Sheffield United, Crystal Palace and Fulham.
And, latest reports have again named Forest among the clubs again interested in the player. They do however face more Premier League competition.
Peterborough manager Darragh MacAnthony has already named his price for the player, with the club known for driving a hard bargain when selling their assets.
“We’ve already identified his replacement should he leave us for £15 million or whatever,” he recently told The Hard Truth podcast.
While Forest fans are generally happy with the link, some supporters have suggested another move that the club should make regarding Peterborough, with the Posh earning a reputation for finding some of the best up and coming players in the leagues below the Premier League.
See what Forest fans said here:
Djs : This is the sort of signing that would make sense but not at £15m
Rather spend decent money on him than Knockeart though
Alfie Fox : Siriki Dembele, Matty Longstaff on loan and a new RB in January and we actually might be alright this season # nffc
Nick Guise : Can we sign the Peterborough scouting network? Unbelievable talent finding from them the last 5 years! #nffc
Andrew Chard : Move Knockaert on... and Ameobi on in the summer (unless someone makes a bid in January) and get this lad in.
Their Owner keeps telling everyone that lower league clubs need help, £5mil bid in the summer
Steve Barlow : Would it not be a good idea to offer the Peterborough scout who keeps unearthing these forwards money he can’t refuse to come & work for Forest. The list of talented forwards Peterborough have discovered & sold on for big money is incredible.
Jarvalho : Spot on, poaching the Peterborough scouts would save us a packet. We could agree to loan players to Peterborough first.
