Nottingham Forest fans share one voice over Jack Robinson transfer update

Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to the news that Jack Robinson is edging closer to a move away from the City Ground.

Having fallen down the pecking order at the City Ground, it is understood the left-back is poised to join the Blades for a fee of around £1m, with a deal potentially being completed tomorrow.

Robinson has found himself out of favour under Reds head coach Sabri Lamouchi in recent weeks, with both Yuri Ribeiro and Chema getting the nod ahead of him.

In total, the 26-year-old, who joined the club in the summer of 2018 from QPR, has made 19 appearances for Forest this season, with his contract due to expire in the summer.

Here is a selection of what Forest fans have had to say about Robinson’s upcoming departure.

Dan: “A shame to see Robinson leaving, he was quality last season but unfortunately hasn't upped his game since the arrival of Ribeiro and Chema. Dropped to third choice and out of contract soon so £1million is good business. Wish him all the best.”

ReissNFFC: “Million for Robinson is a great bit of a business with him being out of contract at end of the season.”

Hannah Forest: “If Robinson is considered Premiership quality, why is he deemed surplus to requirements at Forest?”

Martin Day: “If we sell Robinson and keep Chema as cover that’s good business.”

Kieran Blood: “Just don’t get why Sheffield United would want/need a player like Jack Robinson?”

Adamjgibb: “Not been at his best this season either.”

Matt P: “3rd choice LB too, happy days.”
