Nottingham Forest fans have given their verdict as they exited the Carabao Cup at the second round at the hands of Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Reds fell to a 4-0 home defeat against the West Midlands side, with second-half goals from Romain Saiss, Daniel Podence, Francisco Trincao and Morgan Gibbs-White giving the opponents a comfortable victory.
Forest boss Chris Hughton made a number of changes to his starting line-up for the tie ahead of the weekend’s East Midlands Derby vs Derby County.
The Reds' manager is finding himself under increasing pressure from the fans after a disappointing start to the season.
Following the defeat, in which Forest failed to have a shot on target and conceded 28 shots on their goal, fans have taken to social media to outline their concerns. Here is what just some had to say...
David Nicholson : Four years ago wolves were in the Championship. In the same time they’ve become an established Premier League club we’ve signed over a hundred players, are on our 5th manager and made zero progress. #nffc
Sam Bryan : The most damning stat of them all... 3hrs 20mins without a shot on target. Absolute shambles of a club #NFFC
Kieran Mee : 180 minutes and no shots on target, what an absolute joke #NFFC
HantsRed : Definitely a case of boys vs men tonight and totally outplayed. I don’t get it though, good experience for them but the first team need to improve and get some form so play them! If resting for Saturday I wouldn’t even bother!#nffc
Matthew Noble : Whether it's a cup game or not at least have a go at them dull, dour, lack of courage and confidence. That comes from Hughton and his staff, no doubt about it. #NFFC
Ron Churchill : Don't have a problem accepting defeat against a Premier side. But the manner of this defeat is not acceptable. Can any of us honestly say we're happy with how things are going? If you are happy you are following the wrong club. #NFFC
Conor McKeever : Not one shot on target In 3 games. Not one. How has it come to this? #nffc
CeeJay : Can’t excuse a team not having a single shot again no matter who played. #nffc
