Nottingham Forest fans pinpoint where Sabri Lamouchi must strengthen as Karim Ansarifard makes exit

Nottingham Forest striker Karim Ansarifard has completed his move to Qatari side Al-Sailiya.

The 29-year-old departs the City Ground on a permanent basis, just eight months after arriving on Trentside.

But his move leaves new Reds boss Sabri Lamouchi light in attack, with Lewis Grabban as his only established option at centre-forward.

Despite his heroics last season for Mansfield Town, Tyler Walker still remains inexperienced at Championship level - and has been heavily linked with a move to join Coventry City.

Daryl Murphy, who made 32 appearances last season, was one of four players told by his boss on Thursday that he does not feature in his plans for the upcoming campaign, and during Forest 's pre-season friendly with Dundee, Sammy Ameobi feature in attack for periods.

So who will provide serious competition for Grabban in attack?

Fans have been having their say:

Gary Towlson: Too soft. Vydra please.

Ali Quinn: We need two strikers. Grabban was playng while injured last season. We are 20 goals short of a top six place based on last season.

Gary Tucker: Vydra please.

Glen Page: Striker incoming then for sure.

Simon Allin: In the style of Mr Clough: 'Standby for a new number nine.'
