Nottingham Forest may not have been in FA Cup action this weekend, but that has not stopped fans from watching the various ties.
One match that has caught a fair amount of attention is Liverpool’s trip to League One side Shrewsbury Town on Sunday evening.
Jurgen Klopp's side went 2-0 in front thanks to a first-half strike from Curtis Jones and an own goal from Donald Love just after the interval.
But into the second half and former Reds striker Jason Cummings entered the fray and made an instant impact.
Cummings bagged a penalty after Yasser Larouci was adjudged to have fouled Josh Laurent just after the hour-mark.
And there was to be more drama when Cummings scored his and Shrewsbury’s second, as the match finished 2-2 to send the tie to a replay at Anfield.
Cummings left Forest in the summer to sign for Shrewsbury, after being frozen out of the first-team picture on Trentside.
He joined the Reds from Hibernian in 2017 after scoring 55 league goals in just 114 games north of the border.
But only featured in Garibaldi during his debut season, scoring four goals in 17 appearances in all competitions.
Many Forest fans took to social media to give their thoughts on Cummings’ performance, with one or two joking at the idea of him returning to the City Ground.
