Nottingham Forest fans in awe of 'colossus' after starring display against West Brom

Nottingham Forest fans are singing the praises of defender Joe Worrall after their side's 0-0 draw with West Brom on Friday evening.

The Nigel Doughty Academy graduate was hailed a 'mountain' and 'colossus' at the back for the Reds, who come away from The Hawthorns with a point.

The hosts' Jayson Molumby picked up a red card after 70 minutes and Forest could not capitalise, but they had Worrall and his side to thank for keeping a clean sheet.

Here is what some Reds fans have said on Twitter :

@Trees1865 : Can’t be happier I was wrong picking the reds to lose. Forest were immense tonight, Worrall a mountain at the back. Love my club! U Reds!

@callum_thomas8 : Garner and Worrall superb tonight, just wish we went for it a bit more at the end but not a bad result all told. Onwards and upwards.

@Stubob7 : May well be the best 90 minutes I’ve seen Worrall play for us, thought he was superb tonight. We’re looking half decent, few quality additions in Jan and who knows!

@davinabhakta : Missed opportunity. Good point but would have been nice to get the 3, you just think if we could have converted one chance. Worrall was brilliant MOTM, was a shield back there. Three points needed at Peterborough

@LiamHardwick7 : Decent point away at West Brom for @NFFC I thought Joe Worrall was superb tonight. Final ball wasnt brillant but would have taken a point before kick off

@BarnacleRed : I’ve been critical of Worrall a few times this season, but tonight he was a colossus. Deservedly MoM. Decent point for us against a big budget yo-yo team.
