Nottingham Forest fans have quickly come up with some brilliant chants for new signing Rafa Mir

The arrival of new signing Rafa Mir seems to have gone down well with plenty of Nottingham Forest fans – and some have already started to come up with terrace chants for the striker.

The Spaniard has penned a season-long loan deal at the City Ground from Wolverhampton Wanderers, becoming the Reds’ seventh addition of the summer.

He joins Sammy Ameobi, Tiago Silva, Alfa Semedo, Yuri Ribeiro, Arijanet Muric and Albert Adomah in putting pen to paper as Forest look to put together a squad capable of challenging for promotion.

Sabri Lamouchi’s side get their Championship campaign underway on Saturday, when they host West Bromwich Albion.

Mir has already said he is looking forward to pulling on the Garibaldi, saying: “It is a very big challenge. and I think it is the best option for me.

“I am very happy to be here at such an historic club in England and all around the world.”

The 22-year-old will bolster Lamouchi’s attacking options and arrives off the back of winning the Under-21 European Championships with his country this summer.

Having started out at Valencia, before his move to Molineux in January 2018, he spent last term on loan at Spanish second tier side Las Palmas.

Reds fans took to social media to have their say on the new arrival – and they came up with a few different suggestions on how to serenade the forward.

Here’s what they’ve been saying.
