Forest fans go nuts at latest EFL update
Nottingham Forest have been handed a major boost in their bid to secure a play-off place this season.
The Championship campaign has been on hold since early March because of the coronavirus pandemic, with Sabri Lamouchi 's side last in action on March 6.
Forest are in fifth place, five points clear of Bristol City in seventh and had their eyes on securing a play-off place before the postponement of the season.
The English Football League (EFL) have been exploring ways to restart the season and there is hope that the campaign will get back underway next month and the final nine matches for each club - plus the play-offs - played out.

Reds make transfer decision on midfielder
Forest and West Bromwich Albion have both taken players on loan from Benfica this season.
Alfa Semedo and Filip Krovinovic joined their respective teams earlier this season and they are both battling for promotion to the Premier League.
Semedo has struggled in the Championship, though, unlike his Benfica team-mate Krovinovic who has made 20 starts for Slaven Bilic's side.
Albion, who are in second place, have been the beneficiaries of two goals and four assists from the Croatian with rumours claiming that a €10 million bid could be in the offing to secure his services on a permanent deal.
