Nottingham Forest fans are loving what this man did against QPR

Nottingham Forest fans have singled out one player for praise after Saturday's 1-0 win at Queens Park Rangers.

Karim Ansarifard's strike secured Martin O'Neill's side a first away win since November's success at Hull City.

They needed the help of goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon, who has come in for criticism this season as Forest failed to reach the play-offs having begun the season with expectations of reaching the top six.

He saved an 87th minute penalty from Nahki Wells, with his side leading 1-0, to ensure they came away from West London with all three points.

And for Pantilimon, he preserved his side's 15th clean sheet of the season, with Forest fans full of praise for the big Romanian.

Here's the pick of the reaction from social media...

Archie : "15 clean sheets. I might have been converted to a Pantilimon fan."

James Furness : "Good performance from the lads. Man of the match definitely Pantilimon."

Jake Whalin : Pantilimon made some big saves, so very pleased for him - well played."

Paul Severn : "An away win in this League is never easy and never has been and is usually horrible and ugly - well played Pantilimon."

AJ : "Maybe now some of our fans will actually start to appreciate Pantilimon instead of slagging him off all the time?

"I’ve always rated him and felt he gets too much criticism for goals conceded when there’s ten other players in front of him."

Jordan Thelen : "Pantilimon was class today."

Dave Holmes : "Pantilimon man of the match but it doesn’t matter how you do it away from home as long as it’s done.

"Back-to-back wins, first away win this year, back-to-back clean sheets. A very good day."
