Nottingham Forest fans are all saying the same thing as Sabri Lamouchi replaces Martin O'Neill

Former French international Sabri Lamouchi has been appointed Nottingham Forest’s new head coach following the sacking of Martin O’Neill.

Appointing Lamouchi, who guided Rennes from the Ligue 1 relegation places to the Europa League in 2018, has confused a large portion of Forest supporters after his lightning fast succession of O’Neill.

While his pedigree of working in one of the top divisions in Europe impresses some, a lot of Forest fans remain sceptical of what the 47-year-old has to offer in one of the toughest divisions in world football.

In fact, a number of Forest fans would've preferred a manager closer to home with a bit more experience in the Championship - especially Garry Monk or Chris Hughton.

However, the job Lamouchi did at Rennes has won over a few supporters despite his eventual sacking from the club.

The Frenchman departed Les Rennais in the wake of a poor run of form last December despite his previous season heroics with European qualification.

Here is what Forest supporters have been saying on social media after the appointment.
